A node is a system (server, virtual machine, container, workstation, laptop, IoT, either physical or virtual, either in private cloud or in public cloud) on which you install a Rudder agent.
Subscribed nodes is the maximum number of nodes until the next billing (usually next year). Subscribed nodes are counted by 50 below 500 nodes, 100 below 2 000 nodes and 500 above.
All prices about subscription are based on upfront payment with an annual commitment and tacit reconduction. Other billing options, such as monthly or quarterly are possible in options.
Yes, an agreement is needed for license, usage and support purposes. Signed contract is a prerequisite to access to your subscriptions and support interface. If the contract should be modified, the option “Customer Care Program” needs to be bought.
